I love action movies and my taste in music is eclectic, to say the least. If it's got a beat, then I"ll listen to it.
I'm the sort of person who tends to do strange or silly things for bizarre sentimental reasons, because as far as I can see, that's what makes life worth living. Sometimes it's fun to be irrational.
I love clean lines and bright colors in art, reflecting the fact that I am an optimist with a strangely romanticized view of the world.
I think you can find out more about a person by the characters and stories they create than by knowing them for years.
There's nothing I respect more than courage. Because unlike other virtues, like intelligence, beauty, athleticism, and so forth, courage is a choice. Anybody can be brave who feels fear, because the truest sort of courage is the understanding that some things are more important than fear. Everybody is afraid at some time or another. And so we all have the potential to be brave...

Oh, well. It was good while it lasted.
This summer was a big one for me. I had time like I'd never had before, and a brand new obsession that was the perfect fuel for drawing. Drawing, with the help of SAI, was easier than ever before. Life was good. Commitments were few, music was plentiful, and artistic output peaked in ways it hadn't before and probably won't for a long time. I learned lots. I mentioned in an earlier journal entry that I hated SAI; as of this post, this is no longer the case. For me, this summer was an opportunity to experiment. Dear god, what am I doing?
Ok, well, I've decided that over the next little while, I'm going to try and submit almost everything I draw, even if it's just to scraps. Prepare yourselves for some tremendously shitty art. :) Most of it will probably be Homestuck stuff, because trolls are fun and easy to draw. With the exception of Vriska. Her hair is so hard to get right it's stupid.

I have no idea why I don't post more work.
Somehow, I manage to make up all sorts of silly reasons not to, see. My scanner doesn't work. I'm not good enough with photoshop. The background isn't detailed enough. The list goes on.
More often, though, I don't post because I'm not really certain anyone will notice if I do. Which is actually kinda dumb. How the hell are people supposed to notice when my account is completely inactive 90% of the time?!
So. I am making a resolution.
I am going to post something, even if it's only a sketch dump, at least once a month. I'll join groups, enter contests, whatever. And hopefully get off my ass and dr

Hmm, that certainly sounds like an interesting idea. If you're looking for someone to join or help organize things, I'd certainly be open to the possibility, although I'm not sure how much I can promise in terms of time, as I'm a bit busy at the moment.
